2026 Annual Flower & Vegetable Planting Challenge

About the Event:
Come have fun planting flowers and growing vegetables! You can learn how plants grow and enjoy taking care of them from start to finish.

Event Information:

  1. Who Can Participate: Anyone who likes plants and gardening can join. There are no age limit and no limit on the number of participants.
  2. Event Dates & Locations:
    • August 14 (Fri) – Registration closes at 5:00 PM. The online registration system will close at that time.
    • October 24 (Sat), 9:30–11:30 AM –Planting Challenge briefing and distribution of designated flower and vegetable seedlings. This is the only session. Please make sure to attend.
    • December 19 (Sat), 9:00 AM–2:00 PM – Submission of entries, judging, and the awards ceremony.
    • Location: Known-You Seed Co., Ltd.

Participation Guidelines:

  1. Eligibility: Open to everyone. Participants of all ages are welcome.
  2. How to Grow: All plants must be grown in containers (such as pots).
  3. Seedling Pickup: The organizer will provide each participant with designated flower and vegetable seedlings for the competition. Seedlings will be given out during the briefing on October 24 (Sat). They will not be available after this session. If you cannot attend, you may ask someone to pick them up for you.
  4. Costs: The seedlings are free. Participants need to prepare their own materials, such as pots, soil, fertilizer, and tools.
  5. Competition & Awards: On December 19, each participant must submit one container with the designated flower and vegetable during the scheduled time. All participants who submit an entry will receive a participation gift from Known-You Seed Co., Ltd. Winning entries can receive a top prize of NT$5,000. Judges will evaluate each entry based on plant growth, care, and overall appearance. The results will be announced, and awards will be given, on the same day.
