Known-You Green
Most balsam pear varieties in Taiwan have creamy-white skin, but this hybrid has a rather smooth, beautiful green skin. Plants are early, vigorous, and prolific. Fruit has shiny skin with ribbed stripes and weighs 0.4-0.7 kg. Has green mildly bitter flesh. It is good for salad and frying.
