The fruit turns from light green to yellow when matures. The rind is smooth, but occasionally netted. Average weight is 1.5 kg. Fruit is usually global but the shape may become oblate at lower fruit-set. The thick white flesh has a sugar content of around 13-16%. It is very juicy, tender, aromatic, and most of all, smooth. Recommended for picking when the end of fruit stem turns light yellow and fruit has not yet slipped off. |
