One of our longtime favorite varieties. It is widely adapted and much earlier than Charleston Gray. Compact short vines permit close spacing. Fruit is about 12 kg with durable rind and bright red flesh. Suitable for storage and shipping. This hybrid seldom has hollow heart or misshapen fruit. Tolerant to CMV and anthracnose.
